Trump Reaches Out to Moderate Dem, He Refuses to Meet

The Trump conspiracy to distract from the Russian Federation scandal has crumbled as House Intelligence Committee Chair Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA) sources have been outed as being two White House officials.

The Senate Intelligence Committee's investigation has garnered increased intention as the House investigation has stalled along partisan lines related to its chairman, Rep. Devin Nunes, and his communication with the White House related to the incidental collection of President Donald Trump and his aides.

"The intelligence community's assessment that Russian Federation interfered in our elections - paired with mounting evidence of connections between the Trump administration and Putin's government - demands a thorough and nonpartisan investigation", said Takano, who serves on House committees pertaining to education and the workforce, space, science and technology and veterans affairs. Even some Republicans, including Sens.

"Chairman Nunes is falling down on the job and seems to be more interested in protecting the president than in seeking the truth".

Democratic members of Nunes' House committee said his ability to lead a bipartisan probe is compromised.

"I believe the public cannot have the necessary confidence that matters involving the president's campaign or transition team can be objectively investigated or overseen by the chairman", Schiff said in a statement Monday. Nunes served as an adviser to the Trump campaign, and last week, he spoke of a "duty" he felt to inform Trump about the documents an unnamed source showed him.

He noted he's "pretty much" given up on the House committee's probe. He got the ball rolling on Wednesday, inviting moderate Democrat Stephen F. Lynch (MA) to the White House. This process includes submitting personal information to Secret Service to ensure there is no security threat and to keep a record of visitors. "Congressman Nunes will make his own judgment in his own time". However, this would not preclude Nunes from using a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) in another location to prevent his conversations or classified information from being breached by those without access.

According to ABC News, House Speaker Paul Ryan told donors on Monday that efforts to repeal the ACA are still ongoing.

Bronx Ranked Worst County in Health Report
Death trends from 1997 to 2014 showed 39 counties saw improvements while five worsened and the rest saw no change. In a ranking of West Virginia's 55 counties, Harrison County has moved from 31st up to 26th in health outcomes .

The House's investigation ground to a halt this week after the details surfaced of Nunes' covert meeting with his source.

He later admitted he was handed the documents at a mystery meeting in the White House grounds with an unnamed source. Amidst tensions between the White House and the previous presidential administration, as well as a foreign intelligence agency, the Trump Administration continues to take action to deliver on its campaign promises.

The White House never responded to his letter - which he wrote would be taken as a green light for Yates to move forward.

But the hesitation started in the White House.

"Are you going to stay as chairman of this investigation", a reporter asks Nunes on Tuesday.

When asked if he had seen any links between Mr Trump and Russian interference, he said: "We know that our challenge is to answer that question for the American people.".

Some members of Congress say they're comfortable with Congress or the Federal Bureau of Investigation determining the truth, and think an independent commission would be a waste of resources. "And so I don't know how he derived the conclusion that he did".
