Fernandinho out to ruin Chelsea's title stroll

Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus has stepped up his recovery from injury having returned to light training with the club.

Brazil striker Jesus returned to light training on Monday, seven weeks after undergoing surgery to fix the metatarsal fractured in February's Premier League victory at Bournemouth.

It brought an end to his excellent start in England that saw him score three times in his first four games, including a last-minute victor in the victory over Swansea City.

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has reiterated his desire to strengthen his squad in the summer transfer window.

"I don't know how many weeks he needs, but he is at the end of the process to come back". That's the reason why we have put our focus in analyzing this one with a hope that after the game ends, our wallets will be slightly heavier.

"We haven't had many days to prepare for this game but it's the same for Man City".

City face title hopefuls Chelsea on Wednesday and a win could see them overtake third-placed Liverpool. Chelsea happen to be showing the sort of ruthlessness hidden at Stamford Bridge since Mourinho's prime years.

She asked her other children to look at her camera roll to see if she caught a snap of the snake . And like anyone, was taken aback when she spotted slithering photo-bomber.

"We will speak with Txiki Begiristain and the board at the end of the season".

Conte, who has insisted he will see out his three year contract with Chelsea despite reports linking him to the Inter Milan job in Italy, saw his side's 10 point lead cut to seven over Tottenham Hotspur last weekend.

All five of Chelsea's league and cup defeats this season have come in London.

"Now is not the time to let ourselves down", Costa said.

Paul Clement's side have lost the momentum they were picking up at the start of 2017, picking up only one point from their last three games.

Chelsea won the reverse fixture 3-1, a game notable for the late dismissals of Sergio Aguero and Fernandinho. The 3-1 defeat in Monaco ended up smothering their European hopes by eliminating Pep Guardiola in the Champions League in the first period in his career.
