Batman & Wonder Woman Just Watched the Thor: Ragnarok Trailer

The film sees the return of Chris Hemsworth who faces off with a new foe, Hela, played by Cate Blanchett. In the trailer, Thor had the most hilarious reaction when he came face-to-face with his opponent in the intergalactic gladiator arena. The teaser confirmed just how powerful Cate Blanchett's Hela is going to be and what happened to Idris Elba's Heimdall when Asgard fell.

Though it's natural to assume that It had beat out another Disney property for the most-watched crown, that's not quite the case either.

Now that its new formula proved successful, expect more Marvel properties to feel similar-starting with Thor: Ragnarok.

Okay, now this might sound a little confusing to a whole lot of you out there but by surprise-dropping the first teaser trailer for Thor: Ragnarok , Marvel Studios has caught a vast majority including myself off-guard.

Not only did it touch the most watched mark for Marvel, it also became the most watched trailer across Disney camp's movie trailers that include Disney's live-action and animation divisions, Pixar and Star Wars, THR write.

Even though it was only short, Thor: Ragnarok's first look teased director Taiki Waititi's lighter approach to the stories of the Asgardian God, as well as boasting a psychedelic high-fantasy feel to the instalment.

We later see a captured Thor strapped into a chair. But now that title belongs to upcoming Marvel sequel Thor: Ragnarok.

Thor: Ragnarok will hit the theatres on November 3rd, 2017.
